Kent & Shannon Rollins

Kent & Shannon Rollins

Kent Rollins:

Kent Rollins was born and raised a cowboy, along the banks of the Red River of Oklahoma. Growing up, and throughout his adulthood, Kent helped his father manage cow/calf operations in the area while also taking care of their own herd.

At the beginning of Kent's cooking career, he spent time with his uncle guiding and feeding hunters deep in the Gila Wilderness of New Mexico. From there he bought a chuck wagon in 1993 and began cooking for ranches preservation of a historic way of life. Kent's ability to not only cook but to transport folks to another time through vivid stories of cow camps and the cowboy life is yet another way that he is a truly unique character.

Kent and his wife, Shannon have released three best-selling cookbooks, A Taste of Cowboy, Faith, Family & Feast and Comfort Food the Cowboy Way.

Shannon Rollins:

Shannon hails from the ranching community of Elko in the mountains of Northern Nevada. Although she didn’t grow up with direct experience in cowboy cooking, she’s been an indispensable partner to her husband Kent for two decades. Behind the scenes, Shannon serves as the videographer, photographer, and digital producer for the Cowboy Kent Rollins brand—filming, editing, and managing the YouTube channel, social media platforms, and website, which now reaches an audience of over 6.5 million subscribers.
